A Solid Business Model Is The Key To A Successful Mlm Business

Gone are the days of going to expensive seminars at hotels, making time for calling parties and paying extortionate fees for leads. It’s a brand new day for network marketing.
Many were fed up with the way MLM businesses were run and many were dubbed as scams. Why? Because these businesses were never as easy to duplicate they were presented to be. They do not run on any “real” business model.
I know many of you may be surprised by this statement. I assure you, I haven’t drunk from the “kook” fountain. Let me explain.
First of all, let’s think about leverage. Network marketing is all about leverage. By growing downline you are can take advantage of the collective work done by your entire team. Say you have hundreds of people on your team, and on average, each person only sponsors two or three people. If you do the math, this equates to a very large number of referrals that can really boost your MLM business. Keep in mind that many, to their advantage as well, will bring in more than just two or three people.
The biggest problem is that network marketing has a high turnover of people. Some join and are never to be heard from again after only a few weeks. So it goes without saying that recruiting more people into your downline can prove difficult because of this.
Hotel meetings, calling parties, etc work for some, but not for very long. It is possible to get your first 2 or 3 associates using these methods, but then things can quickly come to a screeching halt. And then you run out of leads. Where do you turn to now?
Most will turn to buying expensive leads from someone else. I must confess that I too took this route when I was starting out. To say the least, it lead me to almost quitting the business. However, I learned how to generating my very own leads. You can too. When you do this, you are building a real business which you are in complete control of.
Keen to know how you can do this yourself? All you have to do is follow a few easy steps:
1)Set-up a web page on the internet that can serve a lead capture page, where you obtain the name and email address of people who are interested in your business opportunity.
2)Drive some traffic to the page, and start building a list of subscribers (leads).
3)Over time send out emails to your prospects. Don’t try too hard to sell your business to them. Rather, pre-sell your ideas and show them the need for joining a business such as yours. Always link to your opportunity in every email. Some immediately see that value and join right away, but some will need more pruning and will join weeks, months or even a year later. List building is about building a relationship with your subscribers. Over time, they will grow to know and trust you. After that, getting them to join your business or to purchase any product that you market as an affiliate will be walk in the park.
As you develop your skills in affiliate marketing, you create an additional stream of income outside of your primary opportunity. It allows you to survive financially while you grow a network marketing business, allowing you to leverage your large downline!
