Article Writing Secrets That Will Explode Your Traffic
Article writing is one of my favourite methods of traffic generation. The main reason for this is that I have found that the leads convert the best from this traffic source.
As the famous sales trainer Jeoffrey Gitomer once said people only buy from other people that they like, know and trust. People are constantly being bombarded by advertising and because of this have become a lot less receptive to blatant advertising.
If you write articles you first help your reader and this makes them a lot more receptive to joining your business. I would like to go over 3 fundamental steps that will help you to generate more laser targeted traffic to your site.
1) Target categories related to your niche market
When I first started out I targeted some categories that were not directly related to my niche market. The problem was that people would read my work, but not click on my resource box. I found that I substantially increased my response by writing for the categories that were directly related.
2) Overcome writer’s block
One of the important things is that you need to do a large volume of articles on a consistent basis. This can become extremely difficult. There will be some days when you just do not feel like doing anything. I have found is that the best way to do this is to change your state. So for example if you are in a quiet place then put the television on.
3) Use a killer resource box
One of the things that I found was that when I tested different resource boxes I found one that significantly outperformed the others. Offer a free ebook for download and also do not bury your link to your site too much. Try to keep it to the left.
