People who are lonely and looking for someone will go online. People who have a need to hurt others go online. People who have a feeling that they need to fulfill go online. Do you really want your child to be subjected to these people? Don’t get it wrong! Not everyone who goes online is a predator waiting for someone to take full advantage of the use of Internet. But, you do have to think about everyone online that you talk to in the way that they could be a predator. There are some people who will abuse the net to explore their sexual needs. You cannot validate any of this vulgarity. There are a lot of people who are sick and need help that abuse the net.

Over time, you will notice that they will give up quickly on you or you will be able to develop a good friendship. However, you need to have your guard up and only over time will you know if this is someone who is trying to find you and hurt you or if this someone who is just like you (wanting a new friend).
